- We have run hundreds of workshops over our decade of service. These are free, not associated with schoolwork or tests and provide a safe place for freedom of choice in reading and thinking.
- We work closely with communities to create more interest in reading and books.
- We train interested facilitators to give workshops in their homes or at a community venue. This is paid work that helps – if only a little – to create jobs. We aim to do much more.
- We circulate book boxes within communities with an ever-changing list of books for children to borrow and read.
- We raise money from donors to sponsor toolboxes in communities that can offer the structure for their best use. (Reading NGOs, after-school clubs, reading groups and many other situations where a curated book collection, and reading materials can inspire interest.
