On Thursday 19th at 11.00 am at Madre’s in Stanford, there will be a very informal – and brief – meeting between those involved with the children of this village and surrounds.
There is no intention to form a grand-sounding association, have minutes of the meeting, or produce another acronym to confuse the world. The aim is simply to make contact, exchange email addresses, and see where we can back each other up and support the efforts to help our vulnerable children.
We will start promptly at 11.00 and each of the six groups who have responded will have five minutes to outline what they do and what is planned for the future.
Thereafter, there will be a potential further five minutes each for questions if anyone needs clarity or general discussion if there are none.
We have to be out of the venue so that Madre can prepare for lunch, but email addresses and cellphone numbers will mean closer contact in the future and we hope this will lead to useful cooperation.
