We had a workshop at the butterfly centre that was attended by 45 children from Stanford. It was conducted by Vuyokazi Siza. We focused on introducing a new song, ‘We are the world – Micheal Jackson’ and the children loved it. The song was soon perfected once we got past the lyrics and the song became our own. At the end of the workshop all 45 children sang traditional songs followed by their own CBN song, which concluded to a very successful morning.
Being a part of the CBN family has been a true rewarding experience for me as a teenager. Even though the children look up to me as a role model, they have managed to inspire me to be the best person I can be.
