CBN started a choir during 2018 because we believed that it would give the children an identity and a sense of community. It succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.
Our workshop participants come from different communities and different schools. We thought singing would be good. But under the capable hands of experienced choristers Vuyokasi Size and Phulani Lose, able assisted by Phumeza Asanda, the singing, dancing, praise-songs and clapping games have become an integral part of all our workshops, and our CBN choir is even requested for community events.
We find it brings the children together as no other activity can. They sing their little hearts out!
