Celebrating 2018 – looking forward to 2019!

We have had a magnificent ride through this past year. CBN has gone from strength to strength on all fronts.

With funding from Lotto and also from the Sue and Paddy Kell Family Trust, we were able to consolidate CBN on all fronts and give a total of 29 workshops to children and librarians in Stanford and Mitchell’s Plain, attended by over a thousand children and book people.

Next year promises to be just as much work (and fun) and funding is in place for a good start to 2019.

We would like to give special thanks to everyone who had any part of any of our endeavours. You were marvellous!

The last workshop of the year will be a festive one, a party – with music from talented Zimbabwean musician Terry Tekura – on 10th December. Then we will close until the first workshop in January before school begins again.

Our thanks to:
National Lotteries Commission for funding our organization’s operational costs
Butterfly Centre for allowing us to use their school out of school hours.
The Paddy and Sue Kell Family Trust for funding our workshops and toolboxes.
