On 17 February, CBN held the second of a new scheme of training workshops. This is the extension of our Stanford workshops that includes children from Die Kop and was facilitated by Vuyo Siza with Lesley observing.
Eighteen children attended and CBN organised transport for those who came from die Kop. This settlement is 6 kilometres from Stanford. On a day when their transport failed, the children – and Vuyo – RAN into Stanford to attend a workshop. That shows a need to read beyond the usual!
We had a magnificent Saturday morning, sharing stories and books, discussing and illustrating ideas, enjoying games and clapping stories. Vuyo handled the group like a professional!
Welcome to a new phase of CBN – and welcome Vuyo to the team.
