Bookdash is a fantastic initiative that brings together teams of illustrators, writers, designers and creative people generlaly to create books for South Africa’s children – in one day! This is their latest release – about dashing in Johannesburg, this time.
We’re excited to announce that Book Dash is travelling to Jozi! On the June 27th, 10 teams of volunteers will work together to create beautiful children’s books in 12 hours.
If you’re a writer, illustrator or designer and you want to participate, apply here. You can submit an application individually, or as part of a team. We only have space for 10 teams, so we’ll be selecting participants based on talent and experience.
We also need videographers, photographers, technical and art directors, social media storytellers, caterers, cleaners, event organisers, and logistics runarounds to volunteer. If you’re interested in being involved in a support role, please email tarryn@bookdash.org.
