Timour Hall Primary is reading!

On Friday 18th October in Plumstead in Cape Town about 180 children were waiting in the hall to hear about books and reading.

School visits are never the same. Sometimes the group of children is bigger (or smaller), quiet (or restless). Sometimes they have had lots of visits from book people; sometimes they have had none.

This group were ready for anything, attentively watching to see what was going to happen. Sitting on a hard floor for forty minutes is quite a challenge, especially on a Friday when the weekend beckons, but they were interested and attentive,

We discussed books and their vital importance, told stories funny and sad and left them thoughtful. They were a pleasure to visit and CBN wishes them very happy reading!
