Fun storytelling on Saturday 24th June

The Cape Town Central Library will be A-Buzz on Saturday June 24 at 2pm with a fun story – telling session that will enchant both kids and parents.

Get your holiday off to a reading start and catch up with all your favourite authors. Bumble will introduce you to a brand new book “The Baby Brother Curse” – a dreadful fate which fills big sisters with great despair!

It’s Sam and Cat’s bedtime. All is quiet until suddenly Cat is woken by a strange noise ... What can it be? All will be revealed in ‘Catnap’ - a wordless Bumble Book.

Then we invite you to meet our Alex who tells you about her wonderful friends invited to her birthday party in ‘I am Alex’ and she invites you to join them.

Songs and stories from librarians Glorine and Margaux add to the magic, so get ready for an afternoon that will fill your imagination.

This fun session also offers the chance for participants to win Bumble Colouring- In books and join the Bumble Book Club with a free badge!!

Bring Mom, Pop and grandparents for a fun and educational session. New Bumble publications are regularly performed at the library and the children are entertained as the stories come to life.

The aim of the sessions is to nurture a love of reading and Bumble Books offers beautifully illustrated stories that educate and inspire. Along with the library's innovative and interactive sessions children have the opportunity of exploring the magic of words and using their imagination.
